There's "magic to do" when a prince learns the true meaning of war, love, and glory in Stephen Schwartz's iconic and unforgettable musical masterpiece! With an infectiously unforgettable score featuring iconic songs much as "Magic to Do" and "Corner of the Sky" from four-time Grammy winner, three-time Oscar winner and musical theatre giant, Stephen Schwartz, Pippin is the story of one young man's journey to be extraordinary. Son of Emperor Charlemagne and heir to the throne, the young prince Pippin finishes school only to realize that he has no idea how he can find fulfillment in his life. He is led on a journey by the mysterious Leading Players and their charming troupe of carnival performers as he jumps from goal to goal- from the glory of the battlefield to the pleasures of love to the intrigues of the political scene. In the end, Pippin learns to listen to his heart and finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the ordinary moments that happen every day.
