A group of 13 Upper School student-artists are the first members of Bay Ridge Prep's chapter of the National Art Honor Society. The students were officially inducted into NAHS during a ceremony held on April 9. Their selection was based on consideration of their service, character, and scholarship in the visual arts. The students were recognized at the ceremony for their hard work, talent, creativity, diligence and commitment.
As members of NAHS, they will be given opportunities to collaborate creatively with their peers and showcase their leadership skills by giving back to the community through art projects, art exhibits, and fundraisers. Other benefits include opportunities that support college and career preparation, the chance to be nominated for awards, scholarships, and have their works published and exhibited in the National Art Education Association journals.
This year's inductees are Sara Anzalone, Sungminn Bae, Lena Bramsen, Nick Fort, Cam Goldberg, David He, Justin Herzfeld, Max Landy, Xela Perun, Amanda Solecki, William Succup, Olivia Terzuoli and Noah Weiss
