Two Bay Ridge Prep students are the recipients of the NYC Scholastic Art Award. Lena Bramsen '20 and Justin Herzfeld '19 were recognized for the unique vision, originality and technique.
Bramsen received a Silver Key for her digital photography submission titled "Reflective Coloradan". Herzfeld received a Gold Key for his digital photography submission titled "Migration" and an honorable mention for "Hiding in a Wall".
Herzfeld, along with other Gold Key winners, will have their artwork displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Gold Key winners also automatically advance to the national round where they have the opportunity to be awarded a silver or gold medal.
