Upper School Turns "Ugly Duckling" Into Beautiful Play
Posted 01/31/2018 02:01PM

The Upper School Arts Department staged a production of A.A. Milne's "The Ugly Duckling" on January 18. The show, which saw the Upper School Library converted into a small performance space, told the story of Prince Simon who is set to marry Princess Camilla.

In the story, the King and Queen are nervous because - let's face it - Camilla is plain! It is decided that a beautiful maid will impersonate Camilla until the wedding. Appearances, however, can be deceiving.

The show was directed by Mr. Alec Harrington with members of the arts faculty working on the set design. The one act play starred Isabella Caria, Nicholas Diaz, Olivia Fiocco, Cam Goldberg, Gavin McDonough, Amalia Sandine and Aidan Walsh.
