The annual Upper School Winter Arts Festival proved to be another exciting night that highlighted the multiple talents of Bay Ridge Prep’s older students and hardworking arts department faculty.
The night began with an on-stage reading of "The Polar Express" for children who arrived early. Following the Upper School's band performance of the National Anthem, students took to the stage to sing, dance and perform short scenes against a festive and colorful set.
As an added bonus, the audience was treated to a faculty chorus which, this year, featured a cameo by an Elvis Presley impersonator that some suspicious minds identified as Upper School teacher Daniel Greene.
Helping the school community get into the spirit of the season and inspiring hope for the New Year, the night was capped off by the Student & Faculty Chorus singing Josh Groban’s holiday hit “Believe” from “The Polar Express” soundtrack.
